| History The Modular Hoarding System was originally developed for use on The London Underground. The system was developed to meet the stringent Health and Safety Standards that apply to Contractors working within The Underground environment. Manual Handling was also a major consideration as most items used whilst working on the stations have to be carried by hand to the work site. To compliment the physical presence of the hoarding, the Underground requires that there are the nescessary Design Approvals, Method Statements and other Health & Safety documents in place. These were developed and approved to the highest standards, as required for this use. Having carried out the development of the system it became obvious that it could be used in many other situations outside the Underground that required high quality hoardings that met required standards. | | | |
